Where to stay

ISWC 2018 will be held at Asilomar–a unique venue in ISWC’s history that is a conference grounds set in a California state park. Asilomar consists of meeting spaces, lodging, a dining hall, and some amenities. Events hosted at Asilomar are aimed at bringing together a community full-time (not just 9-5). Some key advantages of the venue are that it removes the burden from conference attendees of having to find accommodation; having to stay potentially far way from the conference venue and commuting there & back; having to find places to eat, places to socialize, etc. Attendees of events at Asilomar can stay and eat all meals there throughout the event; they can engage with their peers any time; they can gather, and socialize and play sports in various places around the conference grounds/state park; start fires in certain spots; etc.

These are some of the reasons why we highly recommend that attendees stay at Asilomar, to truly maximize the value of their attendance and their travel to ISWC 2018.
